I started peer advising a couple weeks ago for the upcoming Freshmen. Typically, I will be stationed with a couple of chairs beside me, and the students with their parents will come up to me. Some of the students don’t get this memo. Hence, me walking around the auditorium seating area making sure they have gotten advised by someone. Today, I ran into an armrest while making my way to a student. I had the bruise within five minutes. Yay for being klutzy!

On the…well…weird side of today, I had a Camp War Eagle parent tell me I looked like Elisabeth Moss while peer advising this morning. I’m not sure who was more caught off guard, me or her son. The sad part is I get told that frequently, sometimes by friends and sometimes by strangers/acquaintances.
